Akash Sharma, the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Co-founding Member of Jaagruk Bharat, is a seasoned technology expert with a passion for innovation and social impact. Born into a family of doctors, Akash took a different path, becoming the sole engineer in his family and graduating from the prestigious Delhi Technological University (formerly DCE). His professional journey is marked by significant contributions to some of India’s leading tech companies, including Disney+ Hotstar, Games24x7, Housing, and OYO Rooms.

Akash Sharma was instrumental in doubling the user capacity of a major platform, increasing it from 25 million to 50 million people using it at the same time. He also successfully reduced costs by 20% at another leading organization, demonstrating his ability to make complex systems more efficient and effective. These experiences have shaped Akash into a leader who not only understands the details of technology but also knows how to use it to address real-world issues
