ASIIM: A Solution for Employment Challenges Amongst SC Students

Ambedkar Social Innovation & Incubation Mission is a govt scheme under the VCF-SC (Venture Capital Fund- Schedule Cast). The Sarkari scheme was introduced to promote young SC/ST entrepreneurs. ASIIM aims to fund at least 1000 students studying in higher educational institutions.

Benefits Of Ambedkar Social Innovation & Incubation Mission

The IFCI ASIIM scheme provides multiple benefits to SC students. Let’s take a look at the benefits.

• The govt scheme targets 1000 SC students over the next four years.

• TBIs are set up in various higher educational institutions to help with start-up ideas.

• Rs. 30 lakhs will be funded in three years as equity funding.

• Successful ventures would be qualified for up to Rs. 5 crore from VCF-SC.

Selection Process Of Ambedkar Social Innovation & Incubation Mission

The SC students who meet the eligibility criteria will then proceed to the selection process.

1. The start-up ideas of SC students selected by the TBIs will be automatically selected for incubation.

2. Other SC students' applications/proposals will be taken up as per the guidelines of the fund.
