The FTI-TTP is intended for Indian passport holders and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cardholders who regularly travel outside India. Once a participant has been approved and biometrically enrolled in the program, they will be eligible to use the FTI-TTP lane at any airport that participates in the FTI-TTP program; thus, skipping the traditional immigration counter and other lines at those airports. This will save a significant amount of time and decrease stress (especially during busy travel times).
The Fast Track Immigration-Trusted Traveler Programme (FTI-TTP) uses an online registration form, biometric identification, and a self-service kiosk for approved passengers so that their immigration experience is expedited by not having to go through an in-person check-in process with an immigration official.

The Fast Track Immigration - Trusted Traveller Program (FTI-TTP) is an initiative of the Government of India that offers registered travellers with pre-approved status the ability to bypass regular immigration queues and utilisee automated e-Gates to receive expedited processing. Once travellers register and are approved through the FTI-TTP, they can complete the immigration process by using automated e-Gates that scan their passports and Biometric data, allowing for successful completion in less than one minute, instead of the lengthy amount of time required when using traditional counters in airport immigration.
FTI-TTP functions similarly to the Global Entry Program in the United States and other international programs; however, FTI-TTP has been designed for use specifically by Indian citizens and OCI cardholders.
FTI-TTP offers several features that set it apart from other programs and make it user-friendly for eligible travellers to utilise:
Pre-registered Verification System - Travellers must complete an online registration process that includes an identity verification before travel.
Required Biometric Authentication - All travellers are required to submit a fingerprint and a facial image for secure biometric authentication.
Automated E-Gate - Registered travellers can complete the immigration process using e-Gates rather than the traditional migration counters found in airports.
Locations - FTI-TTP is operational at thirteen major airports in India, but is planned for expansion to twenty-one or more airports in the future.
No-Cost Service - There is no cost to use the FTI-TTP service for all eligible travellers.
Passport Validity Linkage - All registrations remain valid for five years or until the traveller meets their Passport expiration date.
Quickly Complete Immigration - Many registered travellers complete their immigration experience in approximately thirty seconds.
Some important advantages of the FTI-TTP (Fast Track Immigration - TAP) travel program include:
Minimal Wait Time: Immigration clearance takes approximately 30 seconds for all registered users.
Queue Avoidance: No need to wait in long Manual Immigration queues at busy airports, as FTI-TTP allows users to proceed directly to their gate.
Airport Convenience: Users can clear immigration quickly upon departure and upon arrival.
Security of Identity Confirmation: Biometric Verification requires users to authenticate themselves using their fingerprints.
No Cost to Register: The services are all complimentary, and there are no additional fees or premium charges to register.
Travel Simplification: This programme is designed for Frequent Flyers and Business Travellers seeking a stress-free, hassle-free travel experience.
