Applicants must collect the application form from the local Block Development Office or Municipal Office, fill it out with the required details, and submit it along with supporting documents at least 30 days before the marriage. Step 1: Collect Required Documents: To do this the following documents should be collected; birth certificates, income certificates, or marriage invitation cards.
Step 2: Fill out the Application Form: Take the form either from the local BDO or download it from the net and then complete the form.
Step 3: Attach Required Documents: Enclose all the relevant documents together with the application form.
Step 4: Submit Application Form: After completing the application then the applicant should submit the same to the nearest BDO or the Municipality.
Step 5: Receive Acknowledgment Slip: You should retain the acknowledgement slip for future use.
Step 6: Receive Financial Assistance: If they are approved, ₹25,000 will be electronically credited to the beneficiary’s bank account.

Proof of Age: Birth certificate or any other valid picture ID.
Never-married Status: Declaration made by the applicant in the completion of the application form.
Income Proof: A self-declaration proven by a competent authority positive self-declaration from a competent authority.
Residence Proof: Declaration made by the individual which is followed by verification by a legit authority.
Bank Account: A photocopy of the bank book that contains a summary of account information.
Marriage Proof: If not then information on the invitation card or registration notice.
Prospective Groom's Age Proof: ID proof of the groom.
Photographs: Two identical passport-sized photographs of the applicant and one of the groom.
