Eligibility Criteria

• Registered Construction Worker: The applicants must be registered with the Rajasthan Building and Other Construction Worker’s Welfare Board.

• Diagnosis Requirement: A Silicosis certificate issued by the Pneumoconiosis Medical Board as per Rajasthan Workmen’s Compensation Rules of 1965 is required.

• Single Scheme Eligibility: Beneficiaries shall not be assisted both under the Rajasthan Environment and Health Care Fund and the Welfare Board on account of silicosis, they must choose one of the state government schemes.

Exclusion

To make sure that the scheme reaches the beneficiaries the coverage is removed from specific categories of workers. The following exclusions apply

• Mines Act Coverage: Workers in mines and quarries under the Mines Act enacted in 1952 are not covered.

• Non-Construction Workers: Employees engaged in buildings or construction works not falling within Section 2(d) of the appropriate law are excluded.

Registration Process

Workers can easily register for the scheme online through the state’s official portal, ensuring a straightforward and accessible process. The registration steps include

• Step 1: Visit the Official Portal: Go to the Official portal for the scheme.

• Step 2: Registration Option: Click “Register” and proceed to the SSO registration page.

• Step 3: Choose Registration Method: Select either Jan Aadhaar or Google.

• Jan Aadhaar: Enter the Aadhaar number and follow the prompts for verification.

• Google: Use Gmail for registration, then create an SSO ID and password.

• Step 4: Complete Registration: Verify your mobile number and complete the process.

Application Process

When applicants have completed registration then they must follow the steps to apply for this govt scheme. The application process for the government scheme is given below.

• Step 1: Login: Go to the portal, and log in to your dashboard.

• Step 2: Select LDMS: On the upper side of the dashboard, click “LDMS.”

• Step 3: Choose Welfare Scheme: Check the “Welfare Schemes” and click on the BOCW Welfare Board

• Step 4: Apply for Scheme: Click on “Apply for Scheme” then choose “Silicosis Pidit Hita-dhikariyon Hetu Sahayata Yojana.”

• Step 5: Complete the Form: Provide all necessary information and submit the application.

Note: There is a time limit for submitting applications after diagnosis/death which is 6 months Application for special extensions may be made to the Divisional Secretary with proper justificatory evidence.
