The Centre’s SVAMITVA (Survey of Villages and Mapping with Improvised Technology in Village Areas) scheme is bringing a revolution in rural India by providing property ownership records to villagers. This govt scheme was launched in 2020 and utilises modern drone surveying technology to improve economic growth and land use within rural regions.

The SVAMITVA scheme is an initiative to provide legal ownership records of rural properties to villagers, enabling access to credit and fostering rural development.
