Recognising how important it is to update records, UIDAI has extended the deadline for free online changes to June 14, 2025. Why Updating Aadhaar Matters?

Keeping your Aadhaar details updated regularly isn't just a suggestion, it is an obligation, and it affects your access to many government and financial services. We will look through what is important, and why updating on time matters, because it can have an impact on your daily life, or getting eligibility for special schemes.

Mandatory Updates Every 10 Years:

Every decade, based on the Aadhaar Enrolment and Update Regulations, 2016, each person’s identity and address proof must be updated.
