Launched in June 2016 by the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, the Rajshree Yojana ensures proper education for girls. Under this scheme, parents or guardians are provided financial help of up to Rs 50,000 for raising their daughters.

The girl should have been born after June 1, 2016.
The girl should be a resident of Rajasthan.
The mother must have a Bhamashah card (a Bhamashah card can be used for obtaining a scholarship at a school, medical treatment for women, etc.).
The girl's birth should have been registered at a private or government institute along with the Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY).
The yojana aims to cut the discrimination between girls and boys when it comes to education. The government has taken up these issues and launched several schemes for girls. Be it for their education, health, and economic development.

According to the regulations imposed by this scheme, only two girls from one family can avail themselves of its benefits.
But parents can take the first two instalments for the third girl.
Necessary documents like the girl child’s Class 12th and college admission certificates, Aadhaar card of parents or guardians, their bank account details, self-declaration about two children, MAMTA card, school admission certificate, Class 12th mark sheet, mobile number, passport-size photo, and bank passbook will also have to be provided from time to time.

Parents, be it the mother or father, or even a legal guardian, are provided financial help of up to Rs 50,000 for the education, health, and care of the daughter.
This will be liable from birth until passing Class 12th.
The first instalment of Rs. 2,500 is given at the time of the girl’s birth.
The second instalment, also Rs 2,500, is given on her first birthday when all necessary vaccinations have been done.
The third instalment is Rs 4,000, which will be given when the child is admitted to any government school in the first grade.
The fourth instalment is Rs 5,000 given on admission in sixth grade.
The fifth instalment of Rs 11,000 is given when the child is admitted to 10th grade.
The last and sixth instalment is Rs 25,000, which is provided when the child takes admission to Class 12th in a government school.

To avail of benefits under the Rajshree Yojana, the application process can be done both online and offline.
To apply online, visit the Jan Kalyan portal (https://jankalyan.rajasthan.gov.in/).
Click on the Rajshree Yojana tab, and apply.
You will need to log in.
Provide the requested information, such as the child’s birth certificate number, Bhamashah card number, and more.
After uploading the requested documents, review and submit them.

Apply at any government hospital in Rajasthan or visit your local post office or Anganwadi centre for information.
You will need to contact the designated health officer for your district or school.
You can also contact the Zilla Parishad, Collector's Office, Gramme Panchayat, or Education Officer.
Take the application form, fill in the correct information, and submit it along with the necessary documents to the concerned officer.
