What Are The Divyang Scheme & The Leprosy Scheme?

The state government of Uttar Pradesh introduced two major social welfare schemes for Persons with Disabilities called the Divyang scheme and the Leprosy scheme. The Divyang scheme provides financial assistance to Persons with Disabilities with at least 40% disability while the Leprosy scheme provides financial assistance to people affected by leprosy and as a result experienced disability.
