The PM Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana continues to transform India’s agricultural sector, being the centrepiece at its core. Under the PM Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana scheme, the government seeks to encourage the growth of Indian agriculture. With a particular concern on the agricultural output per district, where farming is not widely done, crop diversification is limited, as well as credit availability, this Sarkari scheme seeks to empower farmers by:

The applicant must be an Indian citizen involved in agriculture.
Belong to one of the 100 target districts initially selected.
Be a small/marginal farmer, SHG member, or cooperative.
Have basic landholding documents, an Aadhaar card, and a bank account.
Not be a defaulter on previous government loans.
The government aims to ensure both online and offline access to the scheme so that every eligible farmer, whether digitally active or not, can apply without hassle. Here's how the application process is expected to work:
Step 1: Visit the official agriculture scheme portal.
Step 2: Click on “Apply for PM Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana”.
Step 3: Create an account with Aadhaar and mobile OTP.
