The following CCRT scholarship eligibility conditions must be met before applying under the scheme:
The applicant should be a resident of Tamil Nadu.
The applicant should be a practising artist in one of the recognised art disciplines.
For music artists, the applicant should not be less than 16 years and not more than 30 years old.
For Bharatanatyam artists, the applicant should be above 15 years and not more than 30 years of age.
Other than orchestra artists like Ghatam, Ganjira, Muharshingh, and Konnakkol artists also qualify.
The applicant needs to have experience in recognised Carnatic or classical art forms.
The applicant will be required to attend one of the approved events held under the scheme.

Veena.
Violin (Solo).
Nadaswaram.

Eligible Artists are invited to apply through the offline application process as notified by Eyal Isai Nataka Manram, Tamil Nadu.
Step 1: The Tamil Nadu Eyal Isai Nataka Manram circulates notices about the scheme in newspapers and other official communication channels followed in Tamil Nadu.
Step 2: Take the form of the CCRT scholarship application to the Tamil Nadu Eyal Isai Nataka Manram during its working hours as advised by the authorised officers.
Step 3: Fill out all the information required thoroughly in each of the sections carefully and attach the document with self-attested copies for the required details such as eligibility, artistic work, etc.
