What Is The Vidhva Vivah Uphar Yojana?

A state government scheme called the Vidhwa Vivah Uphar Yojana gives widowed women a sum of ₹51,000 upon remarriage. They are encouraged to begin a new chapter in their lives and are assisted in establishing a new home by providing financial support. Through remarriage, the government program seeks to empower women and increase their happiness while creating a welcoming and inclusive community.

Eligibility Criteria

Although Vidhva Vivah Uphar Yojana is for any women who are widows and looking to remarry, there are certain criteria to be met before qualifying for the government scheme:

• The applicant must be a widow from the state of Rajasthan.

• The applicant must be a resident of Rajasthan or have lived there for three years before getting married again.

• According to widow pension regulations, the applicant should be eligible for a pension.

• The ideal applicant is between the ages of 18 and 50.

• The candidate will not be eligible if they have previously remarried.
