How To Download e-EPIC?
Citizens are getting ready to vote for their preferred parties and candidates in the 2024 Indian elections. The voter ID also known as the Election Photo Identity Card (EPIC), is an identity card issued by the Election Commission of India. Authorised to every Indian citizen above the age of 18 who is legally allowed to vote.
Digital India has now paved the way for an e-EPIC, which enables citizens to digitally access their voter ID.
The e-EPIC initiative helps improve efficiency and accessibility. For any new user voter registration can done online.
After completing the registration process, ECI generates a PDF of your e-EPIC card on your smart device. One can upload the e-EPIC to the DigiLocker app as well. This allows the holder to choose the liberty to even print it or not.
Steps To Download Your e-Epic

Register on the National Voters Services Portal (NVSP). This step is mandatory if you wish to get your e-EPIC. All you have to do is provide all the required information and fill out ‘Form 6’ for new voters.

The next step is to wait and check your application status on the NVSP website. Use the provided reference number for status checking.

After successful processing of the form, the electors have the option to download their digital voter ID through the NSVP website.
