Scholarship support will be provided to students enrolled in diploma programmes for a maximum period of three years of their study, taking into consideration their academic achievement and their eligibility requirements.
Assistance can be provided for up to four years to students in a B.E. or B.Tech Programme.
Scholarship may be awarded for a period of up to two years to students studying in their post-graduate courses, such as M.E. and M.Tech.

The ST Technical Scholarship Apply Online process is on the Nagaland Common Scholarship Portal. So students need to fill each part of the application process carefully so that they are not rejected from admission.
Step 1: Students who are eligible for the scholarship can register themselves on the Nagaland Common Scholarship Portal using their Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
Step 2: Once successfully registered, students should log in to the portal using the registered details.
Step 3: Applicants should enter all necessary details such as date of birth, gender, category, contacts and bank account information.
Step 4: Applicants are required to select the State Technical Scholarship scheme from among the various available scholarship options.
Step 5: Applicants are required to upload requests for all necessary supporting documents in the appropriate form.
Step 6: Students are required to carefully read each and every detail that should be added to the application form before they submit their complete application form.
Step 7: On the portal dashboard, applicants can check the status of their scholarship application periodically after submission.
