State Disability Scholarship Scheme (SDSS) is one welfare scheme of the Government of Nagaland, Ministry of Social Welfare, implemented to provide help to children suffering from disabilities in respect of students' education. The objective of the scheme is to lower financial constraints on education through scholarship assistance in education to disabled students (40%-100%) having a benchmark disability above 40%, studying between Class I school to Class VIII.

The applicant should not be getting any other scholarship from any other programme run by the Central Government, the State government or any agency.

To promote transparency and ease of access to government scholarship services, the application process has been completely digitised and routed via the Nagaland Common Scholarship Portal.
The applicant must register himself/herself on the official website of the Common Scholarship Portal of Nagaland with the help of an Aadhaar-linked mobile number. You need to use OTP to verify your account within your portal in order to be able to activate your account as well as secure its access.
Once verified successfully, the applicant needs to fill in basic information like name, email address and mobile number along with a password to get registered.
Once registration is done, the applicant needs to sign in with the mobile number used during the registration and the password given in the mobile no field.
Applicants can log into the login dashboard and update profile details, apply for scholarships, upload required documents, and monitor the status of their scholarship applications.
