Bihar's entrepreneurship scheme, Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana has helped a number of small entrepreneurs start their businesses in 2016. To help more entrepreneurs come forward and start their enterprises, the government has decided to extend the deadline for the application to 2024-25.
What Is Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana?
The Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana was introduced by the Bihar government to help and promote people to establish their own businesses. Interested people can apply for this govt scheme and get a loan of up to Rs. 10 lakhs. Along with that, a 50% subsidy will also be given, that is, Rs. 5 lakhs will be taken care of.
The main objective of this Sarkari yojana is to provide employment and tackle unemployment in Bihar.
People from Bihar are coming forward and showing interest in starting their own enterprises, so the government has decided to extend the application period for the year 2024-25. The application process started on July 1, 2024, and has been extended to August 16, 2024.

Eligibility Criteria To Apply For The Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana
People who meet the following criteria can apply for the government scheme.

Must be a permanent resident of Bihar.

Only Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe/unemployed youth/women.

Should be between the ages of 18 to 50 years.

In the case of sole proprietorship, the applicant must have a personal current account.

Mandatory for the applicant to form his firm or company and get it registered.
Application Process For The Mukhyamantri Udyami Yojana
Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria can follow these steps to apply for the govt scheme.

Visit the official website.

Enter the required information to register.

Click “Get OTP”.

After logging in, give the required details and documents in the application form.

Submit the application form.
