The Government of Rajasthan has recently launched the Lado Protasahan Yojana, which seeks to enhance and secure the future of girl children. The scheme offers ₹1,50,000, which is paid in the form of a savings bond at seven important milestones in a girl’s life, starting from birth until graduation. The Rajasthan government aims to change societal views while improving the lives of girls through its Lado Protsahan Yojana initiative, which provides financial and educational support.
To promote gender equality and enhance the status of a female child.
To sponsor the studies of females belonging to underprivileged backgrounds.
To discourage child marriages by promoting education.
To promote delivery in hospitals.
Consolidate all existing schemes into one comprehensive package.
Under the Lado protsahan yojana Rajasthan, a total of ₹1,50,000 is provided in 7 instalments at key milestones:

Note: For Classes 1 to 12, benefits apply only if the girl is enrolled in a Government or Government-affiliated school.
For availing of the benefits under the Rajasthan Lado Protsahan Yojana, it is necessary that the following conditions are satisfied:
The mother or guardian should be a registered domicile of the state of Rajasthan.
A baby girl should be born either in a government hospital or in a hospital registered under the Janani Suraksha Yojana.
Only girls born on or after 01 August 2024 will qualify.
Participants of Mukhyamantri Rajshree Yojana will be able to avail of the benefits under this scheme as well.
The Lado Protsahan Yojana scheme is fully automated with the application processes and benefit vector being milestone-based. It is monitored and interfaced with government departments. The system allows access to funds without heavy paperwork, burdening families.
Step 1: Pregnant women are registered by health workers during ANC check-ups.
Step 2: Eligible patients' details after birth at government-linked hospitals.
Step 3: Mothers receive the first instalment, which is transferred through Direct Bank Transfer (DBT) to their account.
Step 4: A unique PCTS ID is created to monitor all future payments.
Step 5: For the second instalment, present the Mamta Card or Child Health Card after the child turns one.
Step 6: The school will assist in verifying eligibility for three to six instalments for the school-based instalments.
Step 7: For the remaining 70,000₹ instalments, the Department of Higher Education validates the cash after checking if the recipient graduated and is above 21 years old.
